A thief with a penchant for high-end horse saddles has hit several SoCal ranches, and investigators are asking for the public’s help finding the man they believe to be the burglar.
Since January 2011, during at least four burglaries in Los Angeles and Ventura County, several high-end equine jumping saddles have gone missing.
The value of the stolen saddles is more than $180,000, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Police released a photograph of a man suspected of being the thief, and have asked the community to help identify him.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Moorpark Police Department at 805-532-2700 or 805-532-2714.
