Boy Tortured for Five Months: Deputies

Hot Spoons, Glue Gun Used on Boy: Deputies

A 5-year-old boy was tortured for five months by a man and woman at a San Bernardino County home, according to investigators.

Authorities said the boy was sexually molested and deprived of food and water, and burned with heated spoons and a glue gun.

The child is in foster care.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Arden Wiltshire said Tuesday that $1 million arrest warrants have been issued for 28-year-old Crystal Pauline Rodriguez and 32-year-old Martin Roland Morales. They fled during a child abuse investigation in August and are believed to be in Los Angeles County.

The boy's mother and a 16-year-old roommate were arrested in August after an anonymous tip was called in to the county's child abuse hotline.
