Police Search for Attacker Who Choked Female at UCLA Parking Lot

Police were searching for a man who choked a female at a UCLA parking lot over the weekend.

The victim reported being attacked by the man about 9 a.m. Sunday at Parking Structure 32, located at 1070 Veteran Ave., the UCLA Police Department said in a news release published Tuesday.

The man allegedly grabbed her by the neck and choked her, before running off in an unknown direction.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police say the attacker and victim know each other. Neither was affiliated with the university.

The man was described as 20 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He has a light complexion, thing build and short brown hair. He was wearing a black puffy jacket, T-shirt, jeans and backpack.
