Zookeepers Teach Rhino Tricks at South Dakota Zoo

Zookeepers at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls, South Dakota are teaching 3,000-pound animals tricks – but it’s a little different from teaching Fido to sit or roll over.

Zookeepers trained an endangered Eastern Black Rhino named Jubba to show off his molars, his eyes and his feet, and he gets a treat.

The zookeepers say the animals get treats when they perform he correct action, including receiving veggies and fruits.

This allows the keepers to make sure the endangered rhino is healthy.
