Southland voters cast their ballots in several key races Tuesday night, including who would become Los Angeles’ next mayor, the fate of a Redondo Beach power plant, and two new leaders in the scandal-plagued city of Bell.
More than 50 percent of the vote is required to win the primary nominating election outright. The top two vote-getters advanced to a May runoff.
