SAG Producer Talks Set to Resume Thursday

Second Day of Talks Produces No Deal

Negotiations between the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers ended for the night at 10 p.m. Wednesday, and talks resume Thursday at 1 p.m.

Before this week, the last time both side got together to discuss their differences was November.

The SAG contact covering motion picture and television production expired June 30.  Production has continued under the old agreement.  The main sticking points are the amount of pay for programming shown over the Internet and DVD sales.
