Motorcyclist Ditches Bike Under Overpass, Ending Pursuit in Hollywood

A high-speed pursuit ended Saturday night in the Hollywood area where a motorcyclist ditched the vehicle under an overpass.

California Highway Patrol officers were pursuing a motorcyclist in the San Fernando Valley around 10:40 p.m.

The chase began on the northbound 405 Freeway at Devonshire Street. The driver was wanted for speeding, according to the CHP.

The pursuit ended around 11:15 p.m. when officers discovered the motorcycle under an overpass in the area of Franklin Avenue and Gower Street in Hollywood.

It was not immediately clear if the motorcyclist was located.
