The pursuit had some close calls as the driver sped in opposing lanes of traffic and narrowly avoided other vehicles driving through intersections.

Police started the chase on a report of an attempted armed robbery around 4:40 p.m. near Union Pacific Avenue and Indiana Street in East Los Angeles, police said.

The Lexus wove through traffic and ran red lights.

The driver and passenger bailed out of the car about 5:10 p.m. when the driver could be seen scaling a roof.

She jumped from one roof to another before jumping onto a third like something out of a movie before realizing there was no place to go, climbing down and surrendering to police.
