There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest SuperLotto Plus draw, and the jackpot for Saturday's drawing will increase to $8 million, lottery officials announced. Three tickets with five correct numbers but not the Mega number are each worth $20,768. The numbers drawn Wednesday night were 12, 18, 19, 21, 30 and Mega number 4. The jackpot was $7 million.
The drawing was the first since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold. A ticket sold in a Newark market had all six numbers for Saturday's draw and was worth $35 million. The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 41,416,353 to 1, according to the SuperLotto Plus Web site.
California Lottery officials reminded the public that borrowing money to play the lottery, spending above a person's budget or using money intended for other purposes can ultimately lead to significant problems for players and their families. People with gambling problems or knowing individuals with gambling problems are advised to call the Problem Gambling Help Line, (800) Gambler.
