If you're sick of watching wildfires on television, the Angeles National Forest Lookout Association has opportunity for you.
The group has put the call out for volunteers to man the historic fire lookout towers in the San Gabriel Mountains.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and be able to attend an orientation session as well as train in natural history, interpretation and fire lookout operations, City News Service reported.
An orientation session has been scheduled for Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Flintridge Foundation, 236 W. Mountain St., room 117. Another session is set for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in room 118.
