An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.4 struck Beverly Hills shortly after midnight Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries in the wake of the 12:03 a.m. quake. The preliminary magnitude of 3.5 was revised to 3.4.

The epicenter was located squarely in Beverly Hills, about 4 miles from Hollywood, 3 miles from Culver City and about 2 miles west-southwest from West Hollywood (map), where a sharp jolt then slow rolling was felt for several seconds.
Santa Monica residents reported shaking in the coastal city, which sits about seven miles from the quake's epicenter.
Residents reported to NBC4 they felt the shallow quake in Inglewood, Baldwin Hills, mid-city, Venice and Mar Vista.
USGS's "Did You Feel It?" reporting service showed residents from as far away as Los Alamitos, Orange and Paramount also felt the quake.
