An early morning water main break flooded neighborhoods in Canoga Park and forced authorities to block off streets.
The water main break was reported around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Remmet Avenue and Hart Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The main break flooded the intersection and sent water gushing into nearby streets.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation and the LADWP were requested to the site of the water main break, according to the LAFD. It was unclear how many customers were affected.
