Westside Home Burglar Caught on Surveillance Video

A man believed to be connected to the real estate business is believed to have broken into three homes for sale in West LA since September

Police on Tuesday sought the public's help to identify a man responsible for burglarizing at least three homes for sale on the Westside of Los Angeles after his image was captured on surveillance video.

The first burglary occurred on Sept. 7 around 3 p.m. in the 12000 block of Promotory Road.

The second occurred on Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. in the 9000 block of Liebe Drive and the last was on Oct. 7 around 2:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Hutton Drive.

All burglaries occurred during or shortly after "Open Houses" for residences listed for sale, police said.

Detectives believe the man has knowledge of or is associated with the real estate profession.

In each crime, he has taken jewelry and high-end watches.

He's described as Asian, 5 foot and 10, weighing about 170 pounds, with short hair and wearing glasses.
