Take Your Music to a Presidential Level: Apply to Perform at the White House for Christmas

It may be the middle of a sweltering summer in Los Angeles, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start thinking about Christmas.

What to Know

  • The president and first lady invited entertainers to apply to play at the White House.
  • They're also inviting volunteers to decorate the White House.
  • The deadlines for volunteers is Sept. 3; for musicians, it's Sept. 17.

First Lady Melania Trump is already planning Christmas 2018, and applications opened Friday to allow the public to come perform and decorate the White House throughout the month of December.

President Donald Trump and Melania have opened applications to high school bands, choirs and entertainers who would like to show off their skills.
