A 57-year-old woman hiking north of Malibu Friday was critically injured by a large boulder that tumbled down a hillside, authorities said.
Paramedics sent to Rambla Pacifico and Schueren roads about 9:20 a.m. took the woman to a hospital, according to the county fire department.
The woman was with a group of hikers when she was injured, the county fire department reported.
