A 25-year-old woman was hospitalized Tuesday night after being shot inside a car in LA, police said.
The shooting was reported at 9:30 p.m. at West 41st Drive and South Vermont Avenue, an LAPD spokeswoman said.
The woman was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Police described the person responsible in a four door dark car with dark windows.

After arriving at the scene, they found a bullet-riddled vehicle and a woman who had been a passenger in the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds, according to an LAPD officer who declined to give her name to City News Service.
Police said two unidentified men approached the victim and a man who was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked car and shot at them several times before running away.
Video footage showed several shell casing strewn in the roadway.
