A man was found shot dead Sunday morning in an alley in Reseda.
The assault occurred a little before 4 a.m. in the 7000 block of Chimineas Avenue, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
The body was found in an alley between Chimineas and Lindley avenues, according to police at the scene.
Police do not believe the attack was gang-related, Lopez said, and no description of the shooter was available.
