Police were investigating the death of a man who was fatally shot Wednesday night in Van Nuys, authorities said.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at about 9:15 p.m. in the 15000 block of Stagg Street where a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim died at the scene, Sgt. Sgt. Zultan Mako said, of the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys Station.
"The incident is possibly gang related," he added.
Two Hispanic men were seen driving away in a small white car and are persons of interest in the case, according to Mako.
The cause of the shooting was remained under investigation.
