Elevator Worker Electrocuted in Downtown LA High Rise

The man was found dead in an elevator machine room of a high-rise building.

A man working on an elevator was found dead Saturday morning after being electrocuted in downtown Los Angeles, LAPD said.

Police responded to a call at about 10:20 a.m. at the 300 block of South Grand Avenue, where a man was found dead in an elevator machine room of a high-rise building, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No further details were immediately available.
