A busted water main sent a mud and debris flow down a street in the Hollywood Hills, but no evacuations were underway Thursday morning.
The break occurred about 8 p.m. Wednesday on private property in the 2800 block of Sunday Trail, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power. The property owner will be responsible for fixing the broken main.
The DWP was able to shut off the water, but it was unclear if anyone other than the property owner was affected.
The nearby intersection of Woodrow Wilson and Pyramid drives was closed due to the debris.
No homes were evacuated.
