Okla. Beheading Suspect Faces Death Penalty

An Oklahoma prosecutor will seek the death penalty against 30-year-old Alton Nolen, who is accused of decapitating one co-worker and stabbing another in an attack at a food-processing plant in September, NBC News reported. A notice filed Thursday by Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn called the beheading of Colleen Hufford "especially heinous, atrocious or cruel" and said Nolen remains a "continuing threat to society." Authorities say Nolen, who is a convicted felon, went on a rampage after being suspended from his job at Vaughan Foods in the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore.
