Wild Weather Ends With Two Tornadoes

Wild weather around the country ended Monday with two tornadoes touching down in Denver, Colorado, and in Massachusetts weather officials said. The first twister in Denver caused airport passengers to find shelter and in Massachusetts, a rare tornado ripped roofs off houses and uprooted trees. Monday and Sunday also brought hail to Tennessee, flash flooding in Ohio, and storms that led to power outages in Pennsylvania. On the west coast, an unannounced summer thunderstorm on Venice Beach, California, produced lightning that injured more than a dozen people and left a 21-year-old man dead.
