Police were trying to identify a man who left behind more than $8,000 in cash at a restaurant near LAX airport.
The man ate breakfast on Dec. 19 at a restaurant on Century Boulevard and left the money at the booth where he was dining, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LAPD released a surveillance photo in hopes of identifying the man.
Anyone with information about the man was asked to call the LAPD Pacific Division Detectives at 310-482-6313. Anyone who wished to remain anonymous was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
