Tax Day Deadline: Postal Centers Open Late for Last-Minute Tax Filers

A few Southern California post offices will be open late Tuesday night to accommodate last-minute tax filers.

Tax returns must be postmarked by midnight to beat the federal dateline.

Two local mail centers will be open until midnight:

• Los Angeles Processing and Distribution Center, 7001 S. Central Ave.
• Santa Ana Processing and Distribution Center, 3101 W. Sunflower Ave.

The Industry postal center at 15421 E. Gale Ave. will collect mail until 10 p.m. For Inland Empire residents, the San Bernardino postal center at 1900 W. Redlands Blvd. will be open until 8 p.m.
