Fire officials rescued two people who were found about 50 feet down the side of a cliff near a burned car on Mulholland Drive Thursday morning.
The two people were found near the car down a cliff in the 13000 block of West Mulholland Drive around 7:35 a.m. according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
About an hour later, firefighters had been lowered down the side of the cliff to evaluate the pair. Both people were brought up safely with a "rope operation" and were taken to the hospital, fire officials said.
What led up to the circumstance of the people was unknown.
