Two Dead, One Hospitalized After Shooting Near Las Vegas Strip

Two women were killed and a third person was hospitalized Friday after a shooting about one mile west of the Las Vegas Strip, police said.

The shootings were reported at about 1:30 a.m. following a fight on the third floor of the Miracle Mile Shoppes parking garage, just off Las Vegas Boulevard, according to KSNV-TV, citing police. Security guards broke up the fight, which involved two men, according to police.

One man and two women left the garage in a car. Surveillance video showed an assailant pull out a gun and point it at the vehicle, police said, before he followed them in a 2015 Toyota Camry.

The shootings occurred later near Harmon and Aldebaran avenues, behind The Cosmopolitan and about one mile west of the shopping center where the argument was reported, police said. Two shooting victims -- a deceased woman and wounded man -- arrived at The Cosmopolitan valet area in a vehicle. The second female victim was found dead on Aldebaran Avenue, police said.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video and interviewing the security guards who responded to the altercation at the parking garage, according to the Metro Police Department. They are searching for a second vehicle in connection with the shooting
