An 18-year-old man was jailed without bail Saturday, accused of killing his father whose body was found on a walking trail in Laguna Niguel, authorities said.
Maximilian Ludwig, 18, was arrested after deputies responded at 4 p.m. Friday to a walking trail in the 29000 block of Highlands Avenue, Orange County sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Braun said. Ludwig was ineligible for bail and expected to make his first court appearance Tuesday.
The deceased man was identified as Christopher Ludwig, 59. Both lived in Laguna Niguel, Braun said.
