Kobe Going to Greece?

Lakers star expected to be offered mega-deal to play in Europe

Kobe Bryant has repeatedly claimed he wants to retire as a Laker.

But it looks like he's going to be tempted to leave town. Reports surfaced this week that a basketball team in Greece is ready to offer Kobe a 3-year contract worth $83 million. The offer also includes use of a villa in the Mediterrean Sea and a private boat. Not enough? All of Kobe's taxes and bills for his staff would be paid for by the club.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime offer, but will Kobe actually jump ship? Remember, he grew up in Italy so he knows about the European lifestyle.

I don't believe he'll ever leave Los Angeles, and if he doesn't take the offer and the Greeks want a guy a little older, a lot slower with no jump shot, I'll sign for half the money. Yet, I still want the villa.
