Oregon, Ohio State Fans Brave the Weather to Prep for Rose Bowl

Two days before the Rose Bowl football game and the Tournament of Roses Parade, thousands of fans have arrived in Southern California, and begun to party.

Many of the visitors are intent on having fun and seeing their team win the bowl game that's often called the "granddaddy of them all."

The big game pits Pac-10 conference winner Oregon against Big-10 champ Ohio State, and Wednesday their fans visited opposite corners of the Los Angeles area.

Oregon fans flocked to the head of the Santa Monica Pier for a pep rally featuring their beloved duck mascot, who seemed right at home in the rain.

Ohio State fans and their beloved marching band were also out in force. Wednesday was officially declared "Ohio State Fan Day" at Universal Studios.

A lot of fans visiting from Ohio took advantage of a chance to see the entertainment capital of the world up close.

For those who didn't like the rain, an indoor hospitality area gave them a chance to buy souvenirs and stay dry.
