While thousands of USC students were going hoarse pumping up their team for the huge rivalry game against UCLA, the lead motivator at USC — head coach Pete Carroll — was nowhere to be seen last night.
That’s because he was down the road hanging with tabloid covergirl Britney Spears, as well as Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and comedian Adam Carolla. They were lighting the downtown Christmas tree at LA Live (well, they pushed a button together at least).
Not to worry though, new Washington head coach offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian filled in at the pep rally. Don’t worry coach; I’m sure nobody noticed.
