Power was knocked out to about 1,400 customers for several hours Friday after the second significant power outage this week in the Studio City area.
Utility crews are working to make repairs, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
Power was restored about 4:30 p.m.
Thousands were without power Wednesday night and into Thursday morning due to an outage that began with a transformer problem in Studio City. The outage occurred at 9 p.m. in the area of 4250 Coldwater Canyon Avenue. As many as 8,700 were without power, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
The cause was later determined to be a failed regulator inside the substation.
