Three Stabbed in Possibly Gang-Related Violence

Fullerton police on Tuesday were investigating a gang-related stabbing that left three men with non-life-threatening wounds.

Police were called to the 3100 block of Garnet Lane about 8:45 p.m. Monday, according to Fullerton police Sgt. Kathryn Hamel.

An 18-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his arms, a 19-year-old was stabbed in the upper body, and a 24-year-old man was dropped off at a local hospital with stab wounds to his upper body and arms, Hamel said.

All three were treated and released, she said.

Neighbors said the violence here is nothing new.

Henry Espinoza is not surprised.

"When I hear something like that, my heart goes out to the community -- and our youth," he said.

Added neighbor Kristina Flores: "There's a lot of gangsters here. It's really scary because I live here and have kids."

Police have no leads, no weapon and no description of the attackers.
