The body of a woman was found early Thursday on Venice Beach, and police don't know who she is or how she got there.
A jogger told police they saw the body wash onto the shore at around 6:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman was white, appeared to be in her late 30's, was partially clothed and had tattoos, investigators said. She did not have any identification on her.
