A SoCal Edison contractor worker was killed in a crane accident in West Hollywood Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Deputies responded to a construction site around 4 p.m. at Sunset and La Cienega Boulevards after a report that someone was injured, the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station said.
Paramedics responded and the man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, deputies said.
Cal/OSHA as well as the Sheriff's Department were still on scene at 7 p.m.
La Cienega Boulevard between Sunset and Fountain Avenue was closed to traffic.
