Detectives Searching for Additional Suspects in Windsor Hills Sex Trafficking Case

Sheriff's investigators are seeking two more suspects and additional possible victims in a Windsor Hills human trafficking case.

Bryan Barkley, 23, was arrested Feb. 14 on suspicion of human trafficking of a minor after a 16-year-old autistic girl came forward, authorities said Thursday.

Barkley used social media to attract more than a dozen girls and women to his house, paying for their Uber or Lyft ride to his home in an upscale neighborhood, authorities said.

Detectives referred to Barkley as a ''smooth talker'' who kept women in the house and took their cellphones from them as a method of control.

Investigators are looking for two suspected accomplices, identified only as Renae and Mercedes, who investigators believe were involved in Barkley's alleged trafficking operation.

Barkley is being held on bail of $150,000 in Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles, according to sheriff's inmate records.

Anyone with information about possible victims or the two outstanding suspects was urged to call the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force at 323-526-5156.
