A woman and child were injured in a collision with a big rig on the southbound 5 Freeway near Boyle Heights Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m., just North of the 10 Freeway.
Both victims were transported to a hospital. The condition of the victims was unknown.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
