The meat of the stars-come-out-in-daytime to-do? The organization behind the Golden Globes gathered together big names and a bevy of supporters at the Beverly Hills Hotel to hand out lots of grants to various arts groups.
Some of those groups: CSU Long Beach, The American Film Institute, Inner-City Arts, Film Independent, Inc., Ghetto Film School. The funds are going to various cinema-related causes including job training and scholarships and film preservation. Eye the entire list for beneficiaries, amounts, and what the money will be supporting.
