If you are hankering to see some elephants, the Los Angeles Zoo is one step ahead of you.
Its new habitat, Elephants of Asia, opened Thursday and will focus on the traditions of elephants in cultures from Thailand, China, India and Cambodia.
Billy, the zoo's resident 25-year-old Asian elephant, will join Tina and Jewel, recent transfers from the San Diego zoo, in November.
