Comedy's brightest stars signed on awhile back to lend support to Pete Carroll's A Better LA.
The benefit -- called "Make It Better" -- is raising cash for the former USC football coach's organization, a charity that seeks to end violence and find paths to intervention and positive change in Los Angeles. The date is Saturday, February 20th, the location is the Nokia Theatre, and the laugh-making line-up is impressive: Will Ferrell, Tenacious D, Demetri Martin and Tim and Eric have all signed on.
Now "Make It Better" is lending a hand in Haiti as well. For one day -- Friday, January 22nd -- you can buy a ticket to the benefit, get a ticket for free, and watch all the proceeds go directly to the American Red Cross and its efforts in Haiti.
If you were wanting to see "Make It Better," if you support Coach Carroll and you're all about the Ferrell funny, you should definitely totally and absolutely get your tickets on the 22nd.
Stop reading and go buy at once. Thank you. Wait. Keep reading. After you buy your ticket, and get your free ticket, you may want to visit the Ferrellian site Funny or Die and watch Coach Carroll's impressive acting chops.
