What You're Doing Tonight: March 25th

What You're Doing Tonight: March 25th
    Sam Roberts Band
Don your poncho and make for the Troubadour for the Sam Roberts Band.

THE SAM ROBERTS BAND: We're constantly looking for perfect bands for perfect LA moments, and, as we all know, those moments are often spent going from point A to point B. The Sam Roberts Band may hail from Canada, but they boast the vibe of turning off PCH onto Topanga Canyon, maybe on an September day, when the trees lining the road are especially sun-dappled and the air is slightly salty. Translation: The grooves are laid-back, low-key, bluesy and sweet, with a pinch of sepia-toned sass. If you've got some corduroy flairs with leather-cracked patches on the knees, better wear 'em to this show. Wednesday, March 25, 8PM. The Troubadour, 9081 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood. 866-353-5167

ALSO ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25: English singer Tricky is at Music Box at the Fonda; LAers Ozomatli talk activism and art at the GRAMMY Museum; and Whole Foods Beverly Hills pours Portuguese wines at The Crescent Hotel.
