We all know those virtues and embrace them. We eat them, greedily, in a way we do not with other virtues. And while we want to talk about some of the amazing sandwiches that will be made at the Grilled Cheese Invitational, which is happening at Los Angeles Center Studios on Saturday, April 24, we must first discuss advance tickets.
Because you know. If you've attended some food events in this city, you are familiar with the epic queues. But the Grilled Cheese Invitational has a new feature for 2010: the online advance ticket.
That's right. Print 'em out before you leave. No muss, no fuss. The goal, says the grilled cheese honchos, is to "avoid the huge long lines at the gate." Tickets are $10. Add another fiver onto that if you buy when you get there.
