Service Restored in Bellflower After Crow Knocks Out Power to Nearly 18,000

    Power was restored to more than 17,800 Southern California Edison customers in Bellflower on Saturday night after an outage, the utility said.

    The power outage took place about 7:12 p.m. when a crow got caught in a power line, Edison officials said. Service was restored about an hour later.
