Elementary Students Want to ‘Blanket Community With Hope' for Anniversary of San Bernardino Attacks

Elementary school students are banding together for their community in San Bernardino, collecting blankets for residents in need ahead of the anniversary of the terror attacks that left 14 dead in the community.

The Emmerton Elementary students decided to make their community a better place by starting the blanket drive.

Their efforts were honored, along with first responders from the police and fire departments who were on hand during the terror attacks in 2015, to receive stars from Stars of Hope for their work.
