A small earthquake was reported near Bakersfield California Sunday morning, according to the USGS.
The USGS preliminarily reported the shaking as a 3.7-magnitude earthquake a few miles from the 5 Freeway and about 23 miles south of Bakersfield at 8:42 a.m. Sunday.
Shaking was felt in the Kern County community of Frazier Park.
The magnitude was later revised to 3.6.
