Police Seek Clues in Fatal Hit-and-Run

    A collision early Wednesday morning left one man dead and police do not have witnesses, a car description or surveillance cameras to provide information. (Published Wednesday, Feb 26, 2014)

    One man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Fontana early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

    Police say the force of the hit-and-run collision was so great that it threw the man onto a median near the interesection of San Bernardino and Cherry Avenues by the Auto Club Speedway.

    The man, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

    There were no witnesses to provide a car description.
