The death of a man found fatally shot Monday in a parking structure at the Westfield Fashion Square mall in Sherman Oaks was being investigated as a possible suicide, a coroner's official said.
The shooting in the 14000 block of Riverside Drive was reported about 11:25 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Tony Im.
The name of the man, who was in his 60s, was being withheld pending notification of his relatives, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
