4 Hospitalized After Fire at West Hollywood Apartment Complex

Four people were taken to the hospital and several others were displaced after a fire ripped through an apartment complex in West Hollywood on Saturday night.

The blaze was reported about 7:20 p.m. in the second floor of the complex in the 700 block of West Norton Avenue, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said.

About 30 firefighters were able to knock down the flames 30 minutes later.

At least two of the patients were being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for smoke inhalation, officials said.

Firefighters at the scene said the blaze may have been started by an unattended candle that lit a TV on fire. However, the official cause of fire had not been determined.
