The ``Geezer Bandit'' has struck again, but with a few extra wrinkles.
FBI spokesman Darrell Foxman said Tuesday the bandit has been tied to a 12th bank robbery, but the first outside Southern California.
Foxman says the man believed to be in his 70s robbed a Bank of America in Bakersfield Friday, handing a teller a demand note and threatening her with a gun, as he has previously.
The first 11 robberies were all in San Diego and Riverside counties, most recently in June.
Police in Bakersfield said in a statement that witnesses there reported a ``Halloween-style old-man mask'' on the robber.
Foxman says though they have not been publicized, reports of a mask are ``not new,'' and investigators have considered that the man's elderly features could be a disguise.
