LAX Beefs Up Security Following Terror Threat

LAX is increasing security following what is being called a "broad" terror threat, federal officials said.

The move is in response to an evolving threat from ISIS over the last month.

The target of the threat appears to be military and law enformcement personnel.

Security will be increased at LAX and other select airports as a precaution.

Department of Homeland Security officials wouldn't comment on specific intelligence, but said they've enhanced screening at select overseas airports and increasing random searches of passengers and carry on luggage on flights to the U.S. over the last several months.
