Passengers streamed through LAX, a day after a gunman fatally shot a TSA agent and wounded four others.

    LAX's Terminal 3 reopened on Saturday, a day after a gunman went on a deadly shooting rampage.

    Officials had been working to get the airport back to normal as soon as possible as passengers streamed through Los Angeles International Airport hoping to get to their destinations on time.

    A TSA agent was killed and at least four other people were wounded, including two other TSA agents and the gunman, identified as Paul Ciancia, 23, of Los Angeles.

    Passengers who lost personal items in the Terminal 3 security and lobby areas during the scramble to escape Friday's gunfire were being asked to check into that terminal’s ticket counters to retrieve them.

    Terminal 3 services Allegiant Air, Frontier, Spirit, Virgin America and JetBlue.

    All roadways around the airport and all terminals were re-opened on Saturday, airport officials said.

    More than 1,500 flights have been affected by the shooting, The Associated Press reported. A spokesperson for the airport told the AP Saturday that  about 167,000 passengers were impacted.
